The Benjamins House, located at Krišjāņa Barona Street 12, is one of the architectural jewels of Riga. Built in the late 19th century, the building rose to prominence in the 1920s and 1930s as the residence of Latvian press magnates Emīlija Benjamiņa and Antons Benjamiņš.

The house’s design reflects the eclectic style of its time – luxurious, artistic, and influenced by European trends. Once a gathering place for the city’s cultural and political elite, the building continues to inspire with its grandeur and history.

About the Bar

Benjamin House Bar is located on the ground floor of The Benjamin House boutique hotel. It operates Thursday to Saturday from 18:00 to 01:00 (sometimes until 02:00), offering an elegant cocktail experience focused on signature drinks and refined finger food.

Each cocktail is thoughtfully created in collaboration with Juris Ķēniņš, featuring unique and unexpected flavour combinations, as well as many locally sourced ingredients. Every drink has a story, seamlessly blending with the space’s atmosphere. Of course, a fine selection of classic cocktails is also available.
